Minors

7-11 years of age

The Minors Division provides an instructional, yet moderately competitive, setting for player’s ages 7 through 11 to learn the fundamentals of baseball or build on the skills they already have acquired. The format for play follows traditional Little League Softball rules. The season begins in Mid-March and is comprised of approximately 20 to 25 games, which are played on weekday evenings and Saturdays, primarily at Valley View Fields. Practices are up to each coach, and can range from 1-4 practices per week. Additional exhibition or tournament games may be played during the regular season schedule. The season concludes in late June.

Players in the Minor’s Division are eligible for selection to an All-Star Team that will participate in post season tournament play at the District level and potentially the State level in July. Regional and National tournaments begin in early August.

Majors

10-12 years of age

The Majors Division provides a more competitive setting for players to advance their baseball skills. The season begins in Mid-March and is comprised of approximately 20 to 25 games, which are played on weekday evenings and Saturdays, primarily at Valley View Fields. Additional exhibition or tournament games may be played during the regular season schedule. Practices are up to each Coach they range from 1-4 practices per week. The season concludes in late June.

A draft/try-out is required. 10-11 year olds can be moved down to the Minors, based on skill level and number of players in the division. Players interested in participating in the Majors Division for the first time and returning players who do not wish to remain on their previous season’s team must attend a pre-season assessment to gain eligibility for the player draft.
