Intermediate (50/70) - (11-13 year olds)

Kids are allowed to Lead off The Intermediate (50/70) Division is a newly sanctioned division for Little League in 2013 and provides a competitive setting for players to advance their baseball skills while preparing for the Juniors Division. Players interested in participating in the Intermediate (50/70) Division must attend a pre-season assessment to gain eligibility for the player draft. Practices are up to each Coach they range from 1-4 practices per week. The format for play follows traditional baseball rules with a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. Practices begin in Mid-March, and games begin in April. Regular season games are played on Tuesday, Thursday evenings and Saturdays at a variety of locations. Additional exhibition or tournament games may be played during the regular season schedule. The regular season concludes in late-June. Players in the Intermediate (50/70) Division are eligible for selection to an All-Star Team that will participate in a post-season tournament at the District level and potentially at the State level in July.
